MISSION
| GHP
Group Hug Productions (GHP) is a Digital Arts education organization, which provides free training and support to young aspiring artists. Jesse Ford and a group of talented Interns and supervising professionals under the guiding principles of Creativity, Technology and Community founded GHP in Aug. 2000.
GHP’s Mission is to foster creativity through education while serving the community. Its programs are designed to motivate, stimulate, create and demonstrate. GHP achieves its mission through three programs: The Young Professionals Internship Program, The Art of Technology Education Program (ATEP) and Peace through Art.
The goals of Group Hug Productions are:
 |
1. To provide opportunities for art students and recent unemployed artists to gain practical experience under the guidance of industry professionals. To further develop their skills in the fields of digital art, computer animation, and filmmaking through it's Young Professionals Internship Program. |
| |
2. To introduce San Francisco Bay Area underserved youth to the various digital arts fields through it's youth outreach program The Art of Technology and Education Program (ATEP). |
| |
3. To promote Peace through Art – sharing the artwork developed by the intern artists of GHP and the youth outreach program. The work developed by the artists contains the messages of Peace, Acceptance, Respect, Diversity and Tolerance. The projects were inspired by the inspirational words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. |
